What are your ideas on attracting new players to Trilogy?
Players that are looking either for e new server, or new players all together?
How would you suggest promoting Trilogy? When you think of Trilogy as a place to play T4C, or how to promote T4C itself?

Trilogy's main feature is it's openness and freedom of chat. Being a primarily adult content server, we don't police chat or remove shouts for language like others do.

Once details are set and all things worked out about Trilogy's upcoming future, posts will be made on T4C Bible for the old school and die hards and we will see what else we can dig into.

Some of us have been around here and there and we still have old contacts and players still remember us and that will help when we start to promote and state new details.

1) This motherfucker is going free. This is all your really need, doesn't matter what the hell else we do. Trilogy could be the fat & ugly chick at the bar giving away blow jobs - there will still be a line even if no one falls in love.
2) We don't censor. Speak your mind.
3) We're going to add in some new things and release some other things. Again, this part is icing on the cake, we're going free, who gives a shit as long as you can kill other people for free.

I have always been for going free, since the day this server opened. Free means players will come that wouldn't otherwise which means we'll have more players online which would entice other to join. The staff will be more active as well - everyone who gets GM powers gets bored out of their mind as there's only so much to do without other people online.

im just waiting for the official date for the wipe, then i can spread the word and try to convince a few people to play. its a lot easier to start a new game with everyone roughly the same level as you, instead of playing catch up to someone who has been playing for years. so about the only thing i ask is, that mouse will not be tempted to sell x1's or x'2s or whatever for the first little while. but once there are players who naturally get to that point, then u can sell whatever u want.

so advertise the youtube clip.... i knew it was there but if you want new players then we have to go outside the t4c world. advertise outside of the bible and trilogy forums. so far this game is played by word of mouth. maybe we can get a funding and put the youtube clip on tv air.... just an idea

If everyone concerned about advertising would just use the free advertising potential of social networks,wed get plenty of ads free.Post a link to the utube vid on your facebook myspace and twitter.Use the status message of hotmail messenger to dispaly a link (like pretty much all the gms do now)
And to be honest another way to get people to log in is to...guess what?

Lmao.People see people on,they wanna come kill/chat/rob/annoy the people on,more people see those people and so on.Ask your facebook friends to try it out,then come and hang with em to get em hooked.Talking about getting people to log in to a game you dont log into yourself is kinda...nvm

Log in,get a couple buddies to play and Ill come and do fun shit while people are online.

SEO. Go google it. You want more players? Get the word out. How can you get something that practically doesn't exist the myriad of other free games out there? There is a market for isometric mmorpgs, that's the only kind I will play. However, you must make people aware. Posting to places like digg and other social bookmarking sites, facebook pages, myspace pages, etc.
